YOURSELF?

My name is Nour Hassaine, an 18 year old photographer who’s also studying journalism.

PRACTICE?

In the past year, I’ve mostly done music photography, with big concerts and smaller intimate ones. I also experimented with portrait photography, with in both studios and outside. I’m working on two projects at the moment, which are for two magazines: FLESH & subject. For FLESH, I’m coming up with a way to show how magazines are potentially seen as fading out as multimedia platforms are taking over print and for subject, I’m working on an article relating to the theme of conflict.

DREAM COLLABORATION?

I have a few projects that I’d really love to create and I’m open and ready to work and meet just anybody because I believe that everyone has an amazing story to share. But the biggest dream would be to work with JR, the French photographer/artist. He is one of my biggest inspiration when it comes to my work as an artist but also as a human being.

LONDON?

The London creative scene is exciting and so stimulating. I don’t plan anything almost anymore because I know that the second I step out and just go for a walk with my camera and my headphones in, that’s when I’m going to encounter a range of people from loads of different backgrounds. I try my best to make the most out of every opportunity that comes my way.

SSSHAKE?

From an app like Ssshake, I just want to meet creatives from fields I haven’t had the pleasure of working with already.
