YOURSELF?

I am Josie Bonnici, 23 years old, born in London to a British mother and Indian father. I am an aspiring photojournalist.

PRACTICE?

Currently I am working as a recruiter to pursue future projects. I am planning a trip to Kenya to encounter some amazing individuals and help capture that raw reality of every day life. I hope to take this further to other countries introducing a snapshot into various families lives, cultures and mind-sets.

DREAM?

My dream and drive in life is story telling. I believe photography is a beautiful, powerful medium to be one’s voice. My photography began in an art school in Paris where photography allowed me to use art as my narrator and muse. I lived in India for a year and fell in love with the culture and its diversity. I want to go to third world countries and help share these inspiring stories.

LONDON?

London is a buzzing diverse city and the perfect landscape to explore and experiment. I have met some extraordinary creatives along the way and cannot wait to see the next chapter ahead of me unfold to beautiful new beginnings.

SSSHAKE?

Collaboration is key. One idea can expand as more ideas come to the table and bounce off each other. The layers of creativity are never-ending. I cannot wait to find other artists to take my passion further down the rabbit hole.
