YOURSELF?

I’m Jeremiah “Jay” Johnson. I play the guitar and sing songs I’ve written.

ANY PROJECT?

I wouldn’t refer to it as it project, because I don’t see it as such. I like playing music which is why I do it. I don’t really have an end goal that I’m trying to achieve. I firmly believe that one should let their passion shape their path.

DREAM COLLABORATION?

Maybe writing a tune with Ben Howard? I’ve collaborated before but I prefer writing on my own for personal reasons, as when I write, I’m usually do it for myself. Of course I’m still open to writing with other people, because naturally it helps anyone develop their music and take it in directions they wouldn’t have thought of.

LONDON?

London’s pretty cool. There’s always something going on, the trick is just finding it. The creative scene is nice, very saturated though, and as a result I feel that it naturally becomes somewhat competitive, but this happens on a very low-key level.

SSSHAKE?

Hopefully it makes it easier for people to connect without having to feel like one is pressuring someone into helping them out with their career, as everyone on the platform is generally looking for the same thing.
