YOURSELF?

My name is Emma. I am a French 19 year old brought up in London.

PRACTICE?

I am a Fashion Student, currently interning at Vivienne Westwood in the buying department.

I have a few projects going on. I have just been to the LVMH headquarters to pitch and idea for a competition. The project was to enable people to try clothes on virtually by creating accurate body avatars. It was a very intense experience. Unfortunately, my group did not win but it was still wonderful to be in that environment.

I have a brand called Blame Who (IG: @blame___who) which aims to collaborate with different artist for clothes customisation. We give them hand-picked vintage clothes and they have complete freedom to do whatever they want with the garment. We’ve had some pretty amazing results.

I am doing Fashion Management, but I have been making clothes too. I kept on picturing clothes in my head, but no one was making them. So I figured I’d create them myself. It takes time and patience but making a garment that you can actually wear is the biggest satisfaction I have ever felt.

DREAM COLLABORATION?

I have two passions. I like to call them the double Fs, Football and Fashion.

So I would love to collaborate with a football club or a national team and use their football jersey to make “fashionable” clothes with them. This would be a reconstruction of the clothes.

LONDON?

London is the place to be. People’s minds are so open, so you have the complete freedom to fully express yourself. Creativity has no limit here.

SSSHAKE?

Meeting people. I think making connections is the most important thing as an artist.
