YOURSELF?

I am a singer-songwriter from London (Camden Town) with Italian origins.

PRACTICE?

I am currently studying Music Performance at the Institute of Contemporary Music. As an artist I find I am always getting creative, coming up with new projects and ideas. I’m always finding new ways to explore and expand with my music.

The main project that I am working on at the moment is making my music video for my first single ‘Free’ which is out now. This is really exciting for me, not only because it’s the video for my first single, but this project has caught the interest on so many different people, including the SSHAKE Creative Community, which is amazing! It’s also very exciting to be working and collaborating with so many different creative and talented people.

I think this is what excites me the most about being an artist, to be able to work with other artists and thrive of each others energy and creativity.

DREAM COLLABORATION?

Ok, there are sooo many amazing artists/musicians I would love to work with! I’ll start with my biggest inspiration who unfortunately I will never be able to work with (unless I was able to travel back in time)….James Brown…yes that’s right! He is a f****** LEGEND. I mean he is the God Father of soul after all! I was actually listening to one of his songs the day I started writing my single ‘Free’. His music is what inspired me.

Joss Stone is someone I would love to work with. I mean not only has she got an amazing voice, and I could honestly listen to her all day long, but she has such a powerful energy about her, and I think a great personality too. I can relate to her music so much! It’s the kind of sound and vibe I am going towards musically myself. PS: I think we would actually make some pretty sick music together! (So Joss Stone if your reading this hit me up!)

Ella Eyre is one of my favourite artists out there at the moment, she’s really doing her thing and killing it in the music scene, which is amazing and inspiring for artists like me to see. I am like her number one fan haha, no seriously tho…I have been to most of her shows. I went all the way to Scotland to watch her perform! There is a strong connection to her especially now as an artist, because in 2015 I went to her CD signings and got the chance to meet her and speak to her in person.

I asked her for advice and how I could get out there musically, which is crazy to think about because back then I was just starting out, so I didn’t have as much experience as I do now. She gave me some pretty good advice which I took in and used from that day on.  So yeah she would definitely be one of my dream collaborators.

LONDON?

I think London is such an amazing, vibrant and creative place to be in, if you’re any kind of artist really.

The opportunities are endless here, and there is so much support and help for upcoming and unsigned artists.

I search every day for different events and opportunities going on in the music scene that I can get involved in, and it’s so crazy how much is actually out there if you just do your research.

SSSHAKE?

I think SSHAKE is great idea for an app, because I don’t really have or use many apps out there at the moment, I just feel like they are all kind of the same thing or just boring useless stuff that just takes up space on your phone. But I am so happy to have discovered SSHAKE because it’s so different, and it’s such a great way to connect artists together, and get creative with.

I really hope SSHAKE becomes known to everyone out there. I can definitely see it become something big!
