Dodgy Disco is a record label and music collective of friends based in London, Los Angeles, and New York. They aim to drive awareness to a new type of eclectic sound in dance music. They needed help creating the Dodgy Disco logo and brand identity, in preparation for their SoundCloud release and social media content.
Ben: We chose to work with Faustine, because we really like her illustrative style. The main inspiration was to take traditional visual elements of dance music (for example, the disco ball), and, just, make them weird. Faustine added a nice raw and human touch to the logo design that we all vibed with. It was super easy and fun to work with Faustine. We provided references; she came back with illustrations, and we went through a few rounds of reviews and edits before landing on our final design for the brand.
"I created the identity of the music label by designing their logo and creating an artwork template for their podcast. I really enjoyed working on this project as the music industry is a world that I am passionate about. As a French graphic designer and illustrator working as a freelancer, I'm always hunting for new challenges!"

Dodgy Disco aims to build a community of music lovers whose tastes aren't always represented in the mainstream clubs nor in the underground dance music parties. They've created a private Facebook Group where people share eclectic sounds on a daily basis, and have recently released their first Dodgy Disco edit with London-based producer Medlar. More mixes and edits to come soon!
